Why is it when I really detail my car it rains??
Must be Seattle?
I was thinking, well, I am going to dig in and really detail my car for the show, what the heck...Pulled my rotors, polished them, polished as much of the drivers head as I could, hosed down the engine compartment and got the tooth brush out and scrubed every corner around the block (after seeing Erics engine I have to). Also I washed the calipers suspension parts inside of the wheels etc (after seein Marks car). Today is wash (which I just finished) and wax the outside.
After deciding to "dig in" it just keeps raining more and more.
Here are a few pics, kind of new, no more FMU....
Cleaned up the blower\front area etc...
Polished the ABS thingy...
Polished the rotors...

WAHUSKER...After seeing you go crazy on your car I had to step up to the plate.
gavspurplez...I am not lying, a couple days ago (ask my wife) I pulled my car out in the driveway and it started sprinkling. I am a rain magnet, lol.
PendragonZ...Better be careful, if I find out your at a show I WILL do a rain dance and get you car wet, lol.
*MiKiE $$*...Here is a link to a write up I did on polishing that may help you. Polishing Tips Once you have some of the basic tools it is all pratice.
BIGBOS...Thanks!
DARK AGE 53...Al I can say you have one of the cleanest cars I have seen! If I had your lift I would go crazy, always cleaning my car. I can say I blame you for a lot of my problems, lol. I am still seeing the doctor you recommended, which you are using.
Steve...I can not wait to see you car complete, thanks for the nice words.

Simply amazing, as always.
What did you use on the ABS? steel wool? or did you take it off and go at it?
What about the lines?
I'd rather not take it off and polish, then had to bleed the brakes etc.
Also, polishing the rotors? won't they just get dull next time you hit the brakes hard? or are you talking about the hat?

Todd, Thanks for the compliment, having a lift does help though. I'm glad to hear you're still getting help............in my case the doctor has given up and I'm on my own.
