Default What vacuum cleaner ?

okay, I was cleaning the interior of my car lastnight and started to sweep it out with my old dirt devil hand-held. This thing is on it's last leg so I am thinking of getting a new hand-held. I use to use a shop-vac but I hate the bulkiness of the unit and it's always a fight with the hose from start to finish.
So what brand and model are you guys using and what do you like and dis-like about it.
TIA.

I have a small Dirt Devil and it does not pick up much at all. I just go to the local car wash to vacum those suck everything up.

I have a small 2 gallon shop vac. It's perfect for cars and other small jobs, can handle wet and dry of course, comes with all the attachments too. I picked it up at Costco for about $20 - $30.

I use my Dirt Devil upright, along with the upholstery attachments. A shop vac like Mark's would probably work better.

My portable Shark doesn't do a thing. None of the portables work well.

The best vacuum you can get is the vac 'n' blow. It is by far the best model available out there for auto detailing.
