Does anyone have any experience with these? My dash is cracked and I feel these might be a reasonable alternative than replacing the entire dash. It would also give the eyes a break from the plastic. Just curious.

there are several people on here that have dash covers, me personally I would ask, is the carpet really any better looking then the cheap plastic? because to me it just looks tacky.

Even though that has a cut-out, it will most-like still get caught by the airbag and in an accident you'll have a dash carpet fly into the faces of you and your passenger.

My t/a had a dash pad installed when I bought it 3 years ago. I'm not sure how long the dash pads last so a month ago I bought a dash mat cover for extra protection. Not the one on your link but from another website and I like the way it looks. Feels and looks good. I don't think it will get in the way if the airbag deploys. Mine came with strips, velcro on one side(to attach to the carpet) sticky on other(to stick to dash). I paid $27 for mine. 20% off and free shipping. They have different material styles.

I have not bought one yet since I installed the Pontiac dash, but have had a few in the past. Unfortunately they are a necessary evil here in the desert. They are not horrible, but not nearly as nice looking as a clean dash with a natural shine on it.
