Default New tips, how much should they stick out?

I couldn't stand the tips that my p/o installed on the opposite sides so I picked up these nice (to me) oval tips. How much should they stick out if at all?

I installed mine so that the top of tip extends just past the bumper.

They're normally flush against the bumper, but it's up to you.

On Camaros, I like them to stick past about an inch or two, especially with the Magnaflow/Flowmaster style tips. On Firebirds, where you have them mounted now looks good.

They look really good on T/A's being that they have the openings in the bumper for exhaust. With my Camaro Im going to get them on and depending on how I feel I may opt to go with the 6LE rear valance with the cutouts on each side. We'll see how it goes**
