Default 4th Gen ZL1 hood

Thought maybe some would like to see what it looked like. I was skeptical but seeing it, it's not bad at all.

There was a 4th gen ZL1.
This was the prototype:

This is what actually was produced:

The 5th gen ZL1 insert has no place on 4th gen FBodies IMHO

I think there were a couple other shots. I'll try to dig them up.

Looks okay on the lt1 front end. Don't think it would look nearly as good on a ls1 front end.l due to the more curves. On another note. That car looks way too over done to have 9" wheels in the rear. Needs some 11" wheels and 315's bad.

Hood doesn't look bad, an LS car wouldn't be able to pull it off. Bumper looks like it sticks out a lot? Another vote for more aggressive wheels, that would drastically change the car.

Yep, as mentioned above this hood flows fairly well with the 93-97 body, but would not really work on 98+ cars (just like the harwood cowl).

I really do like the 6LE/Mcnord spoiler. Though I think it looks best when paired with a CME setup. Still looks good as is

Not so much a fan of the t/a ceta mod thing done with the rear bumper, or the splitter really. Wheels would look much better with some adapters to set them out further. Wheels being set way back in the wheel well is never a good look.

I really need another 4th gen in my life. I miss em

I don't mind the hood. Everything else looks pretty bad and tacky to me.

I like the hood although I would want a taller cowl, maybe 4". rear bumper is alright, may look better with some 4" corsa clones instead of the oval tips.

It's ok, but I think a plain cowl looks better.

Damn, I didn't know yours was gone. You had the best looking 4th Gen on this forum imo.
