You can order them from your local GM dealership.

They're plastic. Don't recall them having any plastic tabs though.

I'd do this in a heartbeat, but I'm afraid of the marks the old emblems would leave on the paint.

Negative, nothing like that. Easy installation, you can't mess up.

You have to carefully use a heat gun or a blow dryer to remove the old emblem. It should not leave any marks or residue or even remove paint from the panel.
I like these emblems a lot.

Bingo! I had to remove my SS emblems the other day (whoever put them on eyeballed it and didn't follow directions) and I used my heat gun on low heat, when each S starts to bubble they came off with ease . . . been doing it this way for years.

I was able to pull my old ones off without heat. A little windex and a rag to clean up and popped the new ones on.

FWIW I used a grille emblem on the rear panel. It was a little smaller and thought it looked better. had to clip off a couple of plastic pins but thats all it took

No need to see and wait. It will look great on your silver Z/28, or any other color Z/28 for that matter. I guarantee it, pare. Btw, I was just there last week in Mississauga.

They look great on your car. Can I ask what are you guys gonna do with the wheels from that wrecked Z28?
