That came out pretty badass.

Just a thought on the airbag cover. If you want to change its appearance and make it better match the finish of the real leather, look into spraying it with a soft touch clearcoat. It will bond just fine to the pvc rubber the airbag cover is molded out of. The finish is matte, and soft like leather. Its also very scratch resistant, you would really need to make a concentrated effort to make a visible scratch. Alsa Corp sells the soft touch clear. Im not aware of any other companies selling a soft touch clear to the general public. Given the matte finish, you may have to use either a black or darker grey vinyl paint prior to the clear, as the matte finish will make the factory color look lighter than it is.

I think a gloss black would look ricey. I will hold judgement until better pics. Looks awesome though and well worth the money!

Here's some more pics.

Here it is in natural form. I haven't cleaned it, or done anything to the airbag. I think it matches ok.

See that looks way more natual and I think in context of the whole interior it blends really in really well. now if you ever redo your seats or wrapped the rest of your interior Id feel differently. As is I think im more bothered that the CF on the wheel is more glossy looking than the other parts.

Over all I think it looks great and I bet it looks even better in person

Well, the interior is a mess, it hasn't been cleaned in forever, so with a little tlc, the rest of the carbon wrapped stuff will look the same.

I forgot you've had her stored for a while. How do you like it? It comes across very subtle

I like it a lot. It is a nice addition to the rest of the interior, and ties in nicely.

Consider the G8 steering wheel? I have a spare one from upgrading my G8's to the GXP wheel and it's surprising the difference having the bigger grips makes not just holding the wheel but when aggressively driving the car. I'm sure it takes the same effort to incorporate it as a C6 wheel but I could be wrong, G8 is a bit upside down in everything I have discovered owning mine.

I guess an idea to throw out there a little too late huh? I have a spare wheel from my car somewhere I believe and my extra G8 wheel, will have to check out the differences to make it all work and see if it's possible.
