A guy in my local car club was stationed in Japan and got a set and I got them from him.

Yeah I guess my local DMV isn't too swift LOL.... but we knew that.

i don't care for most aftermarket tailamps, i do like yours..
btw, the plate is cool too!

hey, do you know if it's a "factory" lens for japan or is it some sort of
aftermarket for over sea's????

They are OEM General Motors tail lights for Japan. Japan requires amber turn signals on all cars in their country, so during 93-96 when the tail lights on the Camaro were all red, they had to make special lights for export cars. The 98 and newer lights met their requirements.
