Default 3rd gen retractable cargo cover in 4th gen.

As title indicates, has anyone ever installed a 3rd gen retractable cargo cover in a 4th gen ?

This is a project I'm working on, about 50% complete.

4th gens usually came with that flap cover usually covered in carpet material.
do you not have it or are you just wanting a new look?

im very interested in seeing it, once you have it.

I want to cover my two 12" subwoofers and amp, to be out of sight. I mounted 2 brackets to the rear seat - seat belt brackets. The angle of the bracket has to be bent at an odd degree. Then a length of aluminum angle attached to those brackets spanning the width of the hatch. But to still allow the hatch to close. The cargo cover has a round tube, pretty much a roller. 2 EMT couplings were used, cutting a 1/4 slot. Kinda like a clam shell. But will allow the cover to fully extend. The handle end will attach somewhere to the underside of the rear hatch, permanently. This way, I can still store the t tops.
