Does anyone have experience removing the stator (non-movable wire winding) in an LS1 alternator? I'd like to powdercoat the alternator.
Someone at a auto-electrical place recommended using a screwdriver and hammer to poke it out. Their suggestion is not working. The stator is pressed in to one half of the outer alternator shell. Thanks, Glenn
