Mecham Ram Air Hood Has anyone personally dealt with Mechamperformance.com? I am interested in the hood that they have for a 2002 TransAm. I have inserted 3 pictures of the hood. Please give some good or bad feed back about their product. Thanks! Of course the paint job is on someone elses ride. Troy Turnbaugh

They are nice looking hoods but I hear the quality is lacking and the fitment isnt that great either. There are a few that have the hood that complain about cracking and dips in it. Also several say that alot has to be done to get the hood to fit and it still doesnt fit as good as other aftermarket hoods

Do a search on this. Mecham quality is pitiful - to put it nicely. I had one on my old (99) TA. Not worth the hassle.
