? about NXT wax + ColorX
Since NXT has cleaning properties to it, does using colorX before applying wax actually do anything? Or is the colorX removed by the NXT? Thanks a bunch fellas.

I am very pleased with the results from using Color X and NXT. The COlor X removes the light swirls in the paint. I am able to accomplish a nearly flawless finsih and that is on Dark Grey Metallic.

The ColorX is a color enhancer. It will make the paint look deeper and cleaner (fewer swirls, etc). Apply one or two coats of ColorX and then one or two coats of NXT. It looks amazing on my car and should work for you too. If this is your first time using these products then give the car a good wash and clay (Mothers) first. If you do have some minor scratches/scuffs you can try buffing/rubbing them out by hand with 3M Perfect-It II rubbing compound (be careful) or just try to hide them with SratchX.
Here is what I do:
1. Wash with Meguire's car wash shampoo (gold laundry detergent-like liquid)
2. Clay with Mother's Clay Bar
3. 1-2 coats/passes of Meguire's ScratchX (optional, I drive my car in the New England winter, really only for scratches/scuffs)
4. 1-2 coats of Meguire's ColorX
5. 1-2 coats of Meguire's NXT Tech Wax
The results are amazing.
