Default WS6 ram air hood mod removing rear baffle

what if any benefits or drawbacks of removing the rear baffle plate?
anyone done a home made seilded air box mod.

i took them both out on my car.. u can put ur hand straight thro the ram air to the air box.. benifits would proboly be just better flow..hp increase im not sure.. if any very little.. till u hit 150mph! haha n e ways.. some guys say there air filter gets a little wet when it rains.. mine hasnt hit water yet.. bin like that for a year.. i also took out the plastic front pieces

I took out all the baffles and sealed the box to the hood using that thick black weatherstripping. I have gone through some major storms and so far no waters has made it through the filter. I'm using an oiled filter, a Holley Powershot (a must with this mod) and also have a clear lid (piece of mind being able to check the seal and if water has entered.) When you seal it yourself you probably don't get the pressurization like you would with the BGRA but at least you're not pulling any air through the engine bay.
