Default smoothed and painted engine bay

After procastinating for months I finally finished the engine bay. All holes and seams were filled, then everything was sprayed black.

WOW!!!
Jealousy, Envy, & Covet. They all apply here!

You really took advantage of the engine missing opportunity.

Hope you post photos of phase II.

It's almost a shame to put an engine there.

Almost.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys. The car is getting a motor built so I figured I'd prep up the engine bay while there wasn't anything in there. I will post pics once everything goes back in.

Peace,

Carlos

Don't scratch it putting the motor back in.

That looks sweet, good job. I've thought about painting mine a few times but I doubt I'll ever take the time to do it

Looks great, nice work !

Man I need to do this badly. My 30th came from the factory with the crappiest underhood paint job ever. You can see spots of primer all through the very light coat of paint, some blind corners got no paint at all. It always looks dirty even when spotless clean because of the primer showing through.

I will probably try to tape everything off and re-spray it sometime, been procrastinating but the scuffs from the recent !wire mod makes it even more needed...

Looks great. I have my engine out right now and would love to do something similar. I have a pewter car so matching the paint might be a bit of a challenge... then I have to find the time to do it. Once again, looks great!
