On friday night I am driving home at around 2:30 and then smash a truck plows into me then pushes me out of the way and drives off. Thank god my friend travis got the plate number. So we call the cops and half an hour later they show up. They caught him that morning and took him to jail.

I know how you feel. https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/193908-i-hate-fucking-country.html
I was able to chase down the POS that tried to run but the ***** *** cops wouldn't take him to jail!
Just be glad that you and your passengers are ok. Cars are replacable...people aren't. With the damage you have you're better off with it being a total loss, they would more than likely back half the car and it would never be the same , I know I wouldn't feel comfortable drivng a car that was cut in half at highway speeds.
There are still plenty of excellent condition used F-bodies out there. Good luck!

I say keep your parts and buy another F-body! Keep your intial investment because you won't get as much money for your parts as you paid for them. Just my .02

dude that sucks! your doesn't look that bad...just the rear bumper, the center part, maybe the spoiler...but if it gets you a new car with less miles then all is well. you should save these parts incase you get a new car, but i guess you thought this through...so i'll trade you some money for those clear corners. how much you want shipped to 60062? pm me for details. sorry to hear about your loss.

Between you and Richie Carbone I am gonna be sick. I think I will carpool with my friends for the next few days. I agree with 02blackZ, just get another f-bod if thats what you really want and swap the parts.

Damage doesn't look all that bad from the exterior. I guess a hit like that could have mangled the frame though. Just glad you are ok.
I agree with 02BlackZ. Keep the parts, get another one, and start over.

Sorry that it happened, people suck out there, I've run in to a few myself, even had to stop a rape in progress. I'm glad you are alright though.
