Default TA seats in a camaro???

My appologies if this is a repost, or if this subj has been beaten to death. So obviously I have a few questions.

1. Is this an easy swap???
2. Will the seats bolt right up??
3. Can I use the power seat controls and lumbar, will it hook right up in my SS???
4. If you have some, can you post some pics for me???

Thanks for any help on this, and again, sorry if is a repost

The German spec Camaros actually came with TA seats. For the price they paid, I guess they better have gotten them.

Yes, but you need the wiring/hose harness that goes from drivers side ot pass side from the TA.

4. If you have some, can you post some pics for me???

just did it two weeks ago - if you are just changing the seats, it's a 20 minute job. If you're doing the entire interior, it will take you 8 hours. not hard, but time consuming. Click my site below and go to the Camaro, Interior page - pics and stuff there. I also have a thread I put on here about 2 weeks ago with some tips but they are really more for doing everything from the carpet up....

good luck!

Cool

I've got the Firebird AQ9 seats too.....pics are linked in the sig. I also had 1970 Z28 emblems embroidered in the headrests to match my exterior badging.

Ok, Problem??? Does this harness for the passenger side allow you to plug in the drivers seat as well?? My Camaro harness isnt even close to plugging in and there is 2 plugs on the seats and only one connector for my camaro. I had a 5 way power seat, the firebird seats are manual w/ lumbar. For now its not hooked up... just wondering whats going on here?

Should be two plugs on the drivers seat. One plug in the passenger seat. The harness in your camaro plugs into one of the drivers seat harnesses. The harness you buy goes between the two seats.

P.S. I know someone looking to sell the harness you need to buy. I have sent him info and link to this thread.

Hmm...well.. unless the LS1 uses a different plug...my 95 Z connector will not plug into the seat theres no physical possibility. (round hole, sqaure block. LOL)
