hood hieght problem , please help!

Default hood hieght problem , please help!

ive put a factory ram air hood on my 95 and i cant get it lower at the rear , ive got it aligned but at the rear the hinge is to high and it sticks up a bit and i cant seem to get the hinge any lower . is there a trick or somthing im missing?

Have you tried loosening the hinge bolts slightly (do not remove) and adjusting? You might have to remove the hinges and drill the bolt holes to a "slotted" hole to give you some adjustabilty.

yea thats seems to be my problem , ive loosend the hinge at the hood and on the fender and theres not alot of ajustablity . it kinda like the problem the 2nd gen fbodys had at the back of the hood were you had to push it down sometimes . has anyone else had this problem with there hoods on lt1 or ls1 ram air hoods? i only need like 3/8 inch on both sides and only at the back.
