Whick kit to get...
I'm looking to go all out on a wash/clay/polish/wax on my car (once I get it BACK, that is ) . I've been looking on properautocare.com at their car care kits and I can't decide on which one to get. I'm going to also be getting a porter cable polisher along with whatever kit I get. Which one of these kits would you all recommend (I'm sort of leaning towards the P21S kit due to price and raves on this forum)? They all say that each one is the "best" which makes life so much harder for an already indecisive person... well, maybe not indecisive... eh, maybe so... anyways, WHICH ONE?

I've used Meguiars, Mothers, P21S, Zaino, Blackfire, Platinum, Zaino, Klasse, Blitz and whatever else I can't remember off the top of my head. I have been more than happy with Klasse AIO/Klasse Glaze on black cars, it doesnt mess with the depth of the shine and it leaves the car looking more like it was waxed instead of coated with a polymer.
If you want the extra shine that I feel only a wax can give, go with P21S, best wax I've used so far.
I would stick with the 3M product line for abrasives.

FYI I did some guys 100,000.00+ black Benz, he said he was somewhat happy with the Zaino kit he bought (car was mint, no clear coat swirls or anything) and he asked me to try another sealent. I tried the Klasse...................he ended up giving me his Zaino kit and said he was going to order Klasse later that day. I got all types of Zaino stuff for nothing, pretty cool, even the ZFX stuff.

P21S is what I would get if you wanted a wax.
I like the newer Perfect-IT III line.
Compound for heavier work
Machine glaze...removes the hazing that can be left by a compound and in general is used for minor swirls
Final glaze. Always nice to use before applying wax or a sealent, add’s a nice base shine. No fillers or anything so don’t worry about bonding issues.
If your car hasnt ever been clayed, be sure to do that. I dealth with a 4 year old car that wasnt ever clayed. I helped a friend and the end result looked like we just put on a layer of medium quality wax. Just from claying not to mention the surface was slick as glass (the real reason why we clay'd in the first place).

This is my brothers car I detailed for him. Menzerna IP/FP applied with the porter cable. Menzerna IP with the yellow pad (he had tons of swirls) and the Menzerna FP with the white pad. Finished it off with some Mothers Carnuba Wax with the grey pad.
