Default Cleaning under Hood

OK, I have not had my car but 2 months, and it is time to finaly do a super cleaning job. I want to detail under the hood and make the LS1 shine. So can anyone help me out on the best and easiest way to do it.

There is a 2 can package called CD2 engine detailer. Use that. It's by far the easiest and best stuff I've used!

I still don't like the idea of spraying water on my engine. I just wipe it off often, use clear windex (cuts grease, remember) for the dirtier stuff, and armorall the plastic. Looks great. But then my engine was clean as new when I got it.

if you polish anything that can be polished like the ac silver thing (my mine went blank) it'll make the engine look brand new and then some

I just use water and Simple Green to clean. Then windex to get grease off of the small stuff. And then some tire shine on the black plastic parts to make them look new.
