Default LS1 to LT1 Interior conversion

Will everything bolt right up as far as door panels, console, entire dash assembly from a LS1 car to a early LT1 car ?

The 97 LT1 Camaros have the same interior as the 98 LS1 Camaros.

Hell I just put 97+ firebird interior in my 95Z. It all crosses around pretty good. I didnt use the center council even though I could have..just looks odd in there.

Default LS1 to LT1

I am in the process of doing the opposite....LT1 (93) to the LS1 (2002.)

I know the vents and stuff are really different, the wiring is basically the same, just a few places where you have to figure out what does what. I went to the wrecking yard and got a donor wiring harness out just for odds and ends.

Let me know if you need any interior pieces from a full 93 Z28 interior...I have em all.

For a Firebird

1993-1994 AC Controls, 97 Cluster, 95+ Steering Wheel, 94+ Radio (93), 97+ center console

1995-1996 1997 Cluster, may need the ac controls, 97+ center console.

Why would you want to put an LS1 interior in an LT1? I think the LT1's had a much prettier interior than the squarish-looking LS1.

Just my $.02

I like the 97+ interior a little more than the 96 and prior. (It was LT1 interior first! )

The LS1 interior looks like its trying to be luxurious, but falls short IMO.

The LT1 looks more raw and unrefined.

I just want a set of low back bucket seats and rubber flooring for my LS1 and I'd be happy.

Yeah.. I switched to firebird interior out of a new one and I thought my Z had a rubber floor mat. Just didn't really dawn on my until you said that. No wonder the carpet weighed more!

Well its for my brother but he thinks it will be easier to customize and put screens in and a nice system etc plus its hard to find someone selling a really great condition LT1 interior everyone we have come across including his has started to fade or tear or worse but shoot his is a 93 so its over 10 years oh well. I must agree i think the older ones have a more sporty look to them as far as the interior goes but being that im getting older my wanna be luxurious interior is not to busy for me and still comfortable
