Remove my backseat? Anyone done this?
Since I bought my WS6 I have considered removing the back seat. THe seat is very rarely used, and I kept it folded down for awhile. What do you guys think about this? Have any of you removed it?
I don't want it to look like **** after so I may need to do some work in that area after it is gone.
Let me know...thanks.

There was a guy here who did that on a 'vert, including
the upper part with even a carpeted cover panel.

That looked real nice. I've been thinking about even more
of a stowage compartment , something that comes up to
near flush with the top/trunk deck and with a face that
matches the front seats' full recline. Don't know how
pretty I could make it though.
But a nice false floor to put a nitrous bottle and road kit
under would be part of the deal.

i did something similar with a 2nd gen firebird i had in college 'cept it was boom overkill foolery. went straight from the rear deck and followed the same angle as the front seatbacks down to the lower seat ridge. 6 cubic feet!

It got two almost bucket loooking seat indentations. There is a small piece of metal that should be covered by a flap of carpet, where the bolt goes in. It takes like minutes to do. Try it and if you dont like it no big deal.

You won't have any problems in removing the backseat. It's just my opinion, but I think it's just there for marketing purposes. It's not all that comfortable to sit in for any length of time. I had mine out when I bought mine. It will be just as nice appearance wise, because it will be fully carpeted. I also removed the seatbelts and their related hardware. Once those are out, you can install a harness bar, which just bolts in. Sparco has some really nice ones coming out, that I'm hoping to get.
