Talking Rims or Hood first ??

Rims : Smoothies II 17x10s [hi-polished] with 285/40/17 KDW

Or,

Hood: WS.6 or Raptor

Which should I do first ? I'd like to buy'em both together lol.. but that'll be a pretty hefty penny for me right now!

Ofcourse, this is all for appearance..

Thanks!

If I had it to do all over again, I would have never bought these wheels... so I would say hood!

Rims for sure, especially if you have the 16" Alloys. You might be able to get away with a hood first if you have the chrome factory 16s.

All of the above (except look) plus some... I have had major problems with bad vibrations. These wheels are very difficult to balance! The material used to make the wheels are very soft. Anytime a rock hits them, they chip. You can sand them down and make them look good again, but it does take work. They are extremely heavy, but that is to be expected since they aren't a racing wheel. The wheels MUST be polished on a regular basis otherwise they begin to turn a rusty brown color. The wheels are very difficult to keep clean and after washing, you MUST make sure the inside of the wheel isn't holding any water because the second you drive off, your nice clean wheels will have to be washed all over again. The Smoothie is a very affordable wheel and they look great... they just take alot of patience and time to keep them looking good! It isn't a wheel that I would use for daily driving... more of a "show car wheel".

I always say if you're going to buy new rims, you may as well buy the whole wheel.

Definitely rims!!! It's amazing what a set of wheels can do for a car. That's what I did... wheels the first year, hood the next.

Like someone already said. If you have the chrome 5 spoke rims I'd get the WS.6 hood.

You must realize that you are paying almost 3 times less for those wheels compared to some of the other more popular wheels. The saying, "you get what you pay for" definately holds true. If you are getting the wheels because you like the way they look, then be prepared to do maintence on them. You might even consider looking into the Torque Thrust which are very similar in looks but are definately a higher quality wheel.

can you post up pictures on the hood and the wheels? i cant really see much of the rims via zangel's sig and i have no idea what the hood looks like. but ids say rims just because you won't get much of a performance gain from a new hood and youd get more bling factor from the rims. just make sure those are the rims you wanna get!

Definitely the rims first. If you check out my car domain site you can see how much of a difference they make.
