Hey guys, I am new to this board and 4th gen Trans Ams in general. Right now I have a '78 'bird but I am looking for a 98'-02' T/A.

I've noticed that most people on this board don't care for large birds on late model T/As but has anyone ever seen one on a Ram Air hood? I've always wanted to see one but haven't been able to find someone who has done it. My friends say it wouldn't stick to the hood very well since the Ram Air has the tall scoops, is this true? Thanks!

Yeah, the decals are readily available from several companies, I just wish I could figure out if they'd lay out over a WS6 hood.

You'll lose the head on the decal down in between the hood nostrils. I don't think it would look too great. I've seen them applied to the base T/A hood, and that doesn't look too bad.

Ive seen one ram air with the bird. I didnt really like the way the bird looked. I did stick fine but I think the bird looked deformed

I had a friend with a Silver Metallic WS6 with a Black Bird on the hood and it looked sweet. What he did was find a picture of the one he wanted (there's a couple diffferent one's) and he found a graphic shop to make and install for under a $100 (in the S.F.,California area)

TThere is a guy running around here with a white TA.....wannabe WS6 and a black bird on the front....

For my 2 cents..........its dosnt look all that great due to the scoops distort the bird

why don't you get the graphics like on the collectors edition trans am thirdgendecals.com has it in multiple colors and sells the two hood mini birds without buying the side feathers btw i've never dealt with them its just a suggestion though if you must have a bird on the WS6 hood

try this one. scroll down to the rally bird kit on the LS1. It's a whole stripe kit but you can only install the bird and nostril stripes if you wanted. I got the rally bird kit in bright blue on a white 99 Formula and it looks awesome!
