Default White-letter tires

thinking about going for a more NASCAR look and painting my wheels black and getting white-letter tires. Anyone do this and got some pics? Anyone want to tell me what a horrible idea they think this is ????

I haven't seen white lettered tires on a 4th gen. I have them on my 2nd gen though. I think it might look pretty cool.

Goodyear sells a raised white letter tire for 16" wheels, but I'm not sure about 17" wheels. The rwl Eagle is not speed rated though.

Get a good pic and I'll photoshop it for you, so you don't waste your time/money.

Here's the only "actual" picture of a 4th gen Camaro with white letter tires that I've seen.

I'll be home from work soon and throw up a photoshop for you. Should take too long since those pics you got are perfect for chopping!

Dude...

Leave your car alone.. That thing is awesome the way it is.. White-lettered tires are just gonna throw things out of wack.

awesome job on the pchop - I'm going to have to seriously consider it, although I have a feeling I would get sick of it. Maybe have to have 2 sets of wheels if I can get away with it

I think the tires ruin the smoothness of your car. Your ride flows and dips, in and out, up and down. The tires stick out like a sore thumb. If you lost the lip kit, and went with a less flashy color then the white lettering would look good.
