Default Disable the automatic headlights

I hope this isn't a repost, but does anyone know how to disable your autoheadlights at night... You know that time when the sun is just going down and you only want your foglights on, but youre damn headlights won't go off! yeah, I would like to fix that...

Other than pulling your e-brake slightly...

There is a little module behind the radio on the firewall that about the size of a cigrette pack. I can't remember which plug to unplug but there are only 2 on it. You just unplug which ever one it is and leave it unplugged and thats it. Im sure someone else will step in and tell you which one it has been a while since i have done it and cant remember which plug on the module to unplug.

Thanks! Do you have to pull the radio out to get to it? Or will it be out in the open?

You dont have to pull the radio out, I simply pryed up the panel on the top of the dash which is velcroed down (I think). A lot easier that way instead of pullin the radio.

Yeah pry the top panel up unplug the sensor and go to Radio Shack and buy a resistor. (50cents) and put the two leads in the harness that goes to the sensor. Then your done.

What kind of resistor do you buy?

I've been wanting to disable the lights for sometime now, i'm just not really inclined with electronics.

*UPDATE* Check out this link. This is all you'll need to know! My electronic wiz buddy helped me out and we were done in like 10 minutes.
