Default .....douh!

today as i was leaving to work, i was backing up and whatching not hit the fence behind me, that i didnt notice the wooden pole next to me and you can guess what happend next...

so i got out to see the damage and it didnt look bad to me. no dents and i belive the car is not really scratched, i think its just the paint from the pole that got stuck to my paint.

i believe there's a way to get that out right?... any one have advice on that?

You could try enamel reducer or laquer thinner...just use it sparingly and don't let it set on the paint...that should cut the pole's paint off...or, if you wanted to be more conservative, you could use a polish or mild buffing compound...I worked at a couple detail shops during the summers way back when I was in college...we did about a dozen cars for employees of a local factory that were victims of oversprayed industrial paint...we used laquer thinner...worked like a charm.

Hey...you can use clay, cleaner wax, or swirl remover. Be careful with thinner, and use it only as a last resort. JMO...

If there's enough wax on your car already, it may just rub off.
