Default Bored, So here's pics of Intakes I painted

Well being unemployed and all right now I need to entertian myself for a few minutes somehow so here's some pics of a few intakes I've done for myself and others.

I think i posted this link last year but here is my original LSX and my engine bay parts I polished at the time, too. I didn't like the color of this intake at all, was kinda glad when the intake turned out to be defective and FAST gave me a new one.

Up next is three different intakes.

-The red LS6 is one I port matched to TEA heads and did in GM 98 Torch Red for a vette owner on here.

-The silver LSX with black lettering is my current FAST intake, port matched to my TEA heads and done in GM 98 Fbody Silver and the lettering done in just a gloss black.

-The other silver one is an LS6 i just finished for a user on here, not ported, done in the same GM factory silver as my LSX.

All of them were smoothed down to a glass like finish, primed, painted, and clearcoated. Shitty work by hand, but hey they are pretty when done and thus here my bored *** is to post pics cuz I'm kinda proud of them
Here ya go, let me know what you think of everything.

How did you mask the letters on the LSX, especially on the F.A.S.T.

abadss, i didn't wetsand them, no, they come out nice enough without any wetsanding so I dont' bother.

ZaneO--I did not mask them, I do the lettering by hand with paint from a can, I've always had a good hand for that kind of stuff i guess so I just do it that way.

takes a bit of practice to get good at it, i'd start with a junk ls1 intake or something before trying to do an ls6 or LSX just in case you mess up.

just takes a lot of sanding and getting good with spraying primer, paint, and clearcoat..

Can you do anything with the Aluminum Holley intake??? I'd like to have it painted or powder coated.

Those are awesome too, BTW!
