Default how do i get the shift **** off (auto)

there are no set screws in it or anything. i'm trying to pull out the center console. also how do you get the e brake boot off? thanks

There should be a staple in the side closest to the radio. Pull that out and the shift **** just pulls off.

Yup, there is a slot in the front of the base section of the handle (facing radio). You can use a small screwdriver or dentist pick to pull out the staple.

k cool i saw that i thought it held the hide on there lol...thanks same thing with the ebrake?

I'm not sure about the ebrake. I think its a rivit or screw. There is a noticeable hole for it, but I haven't tried it yet. Someone on here removed the ebrake handle and replaced it with an aftermarket one, but their removal process was destructive (the old one was kinda cut/broken off). Maybe someone else can chime in on the proper removal technique.

There is a phillips head screw towards the back of the handle. take that off and you should be in business.
