I usually end up waxing my car once a month or two months. Usually whenever the wax starts to come off. Not sure if thats the "proper" procedure, but it works for me.

I dont think you can wax TOO much, many people put multiple coats on. I.E. a coat of NXT, then a coat of Carnuba.

It really depends on what you are using. Sealants will last much longer than carnauba waxes.

You can't over wax (as far as hurting the paint goes). For store bought products, I would recommend monthly for a daily driver.

thats not just from waxing.

But seriously, you should look into getting a buffer.

Ya like said before it depends on what wax you use. If you wax too much with a sealant type of wax, it wont hurt, but will look kinda crappy, hazy and not a rich and deep as some waxes. But with a carnuaba type wax or higher grade stuff (ex: zanio, griot's garage, even wizards stuff), multiple coats at once can make your paint look deeper and more glossy.
