Exclamation Brake Capilars Done!

Well it was pretty sick, one of the cheapest appearance mods over for only like 35$ and some time.... tell me what you guys think. I used black paint for the calipers and just added the decal from afterthoughs auto, and mann that decal is worth every $$. its beautiful...

That looks good! I've got some new rotors to put on some time this winter, and I definately want to do my calipers in black, with a 'Trans Am' decal similar to yours.

If you do the rotors too it really looks great. Eastwood sells brake drum and caliper paint with the look of new cast iron and very slippery so brake dust just wipes right off.

How did you like that Duplacolor ceramic stuff? I thought about getting some when I do my brakes.

Looks awesome!

Looks good, but I think your tires are WAY too small. 225/40's...

Me too on the Duplicolor kit - no complaints. Did mine yesterday. Took the calipers and brackets off and spray painted the calipers red and the brackets silver. Downside to taking them off is that you have to add back brake fluid lost and purge the air in the lines. Upside is that you can spray paint everything without masking.

I also used the Afterthoughts Auto caliper decals for the Camaro and they were easy to do and really look nice.

I installed the Wholesale Parts Direct zinc coated drilled and slotted rotors and they look so much nicer than the stock ones did, especially with the calpers and brackets painted.

Well, I wasn't going to say anything about the tires (j/k)...The "jackstand" caught my eye and I was thinking "damn that must be some serious oak he's got, we need to build houses out of that stuff".

Anyways your car looks nice and the brake job is great, got me wanting to do mine!!

Looks nice, I'll be doing this some day when it gets warm, and I have a day to waste away somewhere.

I'm surprised those tires even fit on those rims

This is not a hijack, I just wanted to show you what you can do with your factory rotors. I took a wire brush to get the rust off and used high heat Aluminum paint on them..they look brand new..thats been done for a while, when they get dirty I just pull the wheel and clean with dawn soap and water...you should try it!
