Can the power steering fluid reservoir be powdercoated?

Don't think powdercoating will work due to the fact it's plastic - plus the powdercoat needs to be baked at 400 Deg+ to cure the paint.
I had mine chromed (guy that does my metal chroming/polishing also does plastic) Cost was $135 - it's been on the car for over a year now with absolutely no problems. I don't ever expect to have any problems - this guy knows what he's doing. I have at least 5K in chroming between my T/A & 68 Vette - I've never had any problems over the years with any chroming he has done - either metal or plastic.
So as long as you use a plating shop that also specializes in plastic - you will have no problems. And the effect is excellent!
