Default What do you think about my grille emblem.

Got bored today and decided to install this bowtie I've had laying around my house. I have no Idea what it's for. I've looked in yearone and none of there emblems match it so if any of you guys no what it's for please let me know. i was going to get 69 chevelle grille emblem. But I didn't really want to spend $52 bucks on a emblem right now so i decided to run this one for a while. So what to you think. n :
Here's so pics on the install and how it fits

Yeah I know my car is dirty. Oh yeah the emblem required no modification to make it fit. Also it is a GM emblem.

I have no clue what the emblem came on, but it does look pretty good on your car. Just needs to be a tad bit bigger imo.

I've been wanting to see what the old school script "camaro" emblem would look like on the grille. I think if you could get the contour down, it'd be a subtle yet refined addition.

Yeah that emblem is real fragile it would probably break. But maybe you could put it on the drivers side of the grille like some are doing with the 69 Z-28 emblem. Just a thought.

Yeah, thats something like I was figuring. Like the old Chevrolet emblems on some of the truck grilles. Odd that its so fragile tho. I'd have thought it was just the opposite, it'd need some heat to be maleable (sp?) then you could possibly lay it on the grille and just softly push it down.

The grille is made by precision. I got it because it has more bars than the stull grille does.

Yeah yo would have to heat it up to bend it. But then I would be afraid the chrome woud come off.

I like it. Reminds me of the grille emblem on my Pop's old 73 Malibu.
