Default Accidental "Cold" Weather Wax Testing (NXT vs. Gold Class)

We had a very unseasonably warm day here in Northern Illinois today so I decided to wash the inch thick layer of salt off my car. After scrubbing all that off, I decided to lay down a coat of wax. I grabbed my once used bottle of NXT and started shaking it. Much to my chagrin, it made a sloshing noise. Could it be true? Could this wax have seperated in my 60 degree climate controlled garage? Yup! I decided to check the bottle of Gold Class that was sitting right next to it, and sure enough, it was perfect. No seperation had occured! Anyone know how or why this might have happened? I already filed a complaint with Meguiar's customer service. I'm pretty pissed that my $10 bottle of wax went to crap for no apparant reason.

i would assume that since most waxes contain petroleum dissilates (sp) they can separate over time when not in use. that could be the case

I used my NXT the other day for the same reason and it was fine. The bottle is sitting in the corner of the garage right by the door so it got cold a few times.
