Default Silver or black FRC's?

I have a black car, with chrome wheels, and stainless emblems. The theme for the car is black, and chrome. I am painting my FRC's, and I wanted some opinions on what to do. I bought some "chrome" bumper paint, and I tested it on the backsid of one of my FRC's, and it actually comes out rather nice, and very shiny. Doesnt look like cheesy chrome plastic crap. I was wondering if you guys had any opinions on whether I should paint the FRC's black, and do the letters in the chrome, or do the FRC in the chrome, and do the letters in black. Im going to keep the corvette letters there. I was just wondering if the chrome paint under the all black hood would look too gaudy. Im getting a bunch of billett caps , and other accesories very soon. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thanks!

If I get a set of FRC's I think I would paint them silver. I think it would be a nice contrast with the black. If your getting the billet caps it will look really good.

IMO, the chrome might be a bit too much. I think the black with chrome letters would look really good though. You might even look into getting some black chrome finish. I think I saw someone a while back that did interior pieces with some sort of black chrome. It looked pretty good but not REAL flashy!

Zangel is right. Blackchrome is a really nice understated look.

I'm going with the silver myself, though I just worked out the deal with someone on here (camarochicky02), so I don't have pics. They are the same ones on Afterthoughts, pic#4. Now I just have to figure out which STB to go with.

Do NOT get the SLP STB, it will rub the covers. BMR and Hotchkiss work just fine.

Thanks. I already knew that. I ended up buying a red hotchkis one from someone else on this site. It's not the color I was looking for, but I can always chrome it later .
