Nothing will repair swirls or scratches by hand. Waxes and glaze will only temporarily hide them.
Find someone that can use a polisher/buffer with a fine compound, the 3M perfect it 3 is a great product for removing small blemishes or imperfections.
Then use a foam polishing pad to remove any swirls that the compound might have left behind.
Then wax it to protect your work.

Be aware you cannot get a swirl free finish whether your doing it by hand or machine. You will have better results w/ a machine i.e porter cable or a rotory (experiences users only). good luck
