i thought instead of going with the traditional dual black racing stripes down the stock hood i might try one single stripe....maybe 1.5' wide or something around that width. it seems like it would be hard because of the crease that runs down the middle of the hood. i think it would be hard not being a flat surface....kinda like trying to bend a piece of paper around a basketball with no folds/crinkles. anyone have any suggestions on how i could make this work without having it painted? i think a wide black stripe would look sick on a silver hood.

You want a straight stripe or something that tapers at the end...

yeah man, something like that, but id like it to follow the same width all the way down and stop about a half inch or so above the grill...about right where that one does....but the same width all the way down instead of getting narrow at the end.
