Default What color calipers.....

What color calipers??? My car is burgandy with a black top Z28.. i also have black wheels with a polished lip. I was thinking red or black but i am not sure....leaning more towards red........opinions???? what type of paint do i use. Saw some stuff at a local parts store that said VHT brake caliper paint.

Same color as the car, but w/ chrome or silver accents so it'll stand out against the black rims. Or, do just the opposite. A silver caliper w/ red lettering (if you even go w/ lettering) so it'll be a major standout between the black of the rims, and the caliper.

It may just be me, but that seems like too much black. Yeah, the polished brackets will be a nice touch, but if you color matched the calipers to the car, then did like a chrome, silver or polished lettering set it'd stand out more against your black rims.

i would think that either the burgandy of your car or a chrome would look real sweet.

I think silver w/ black bracket would look good. It would grab some attention, but should have a 'clean' look to it.

I believe Jantzer is the sponsor that does them. In fact, I think the one posted at the top with the red bracket is his work. I think he gets $250 for the set....

I posted a basic how-to a few months back in another thread...let me see if I can find it...
