1998 Camaros with Factory "Red Accent" Interior...... I'm trying to figure something out. It seems like the "Red Interior Accent" option package was a pretty rare option for '98. I can only recall seeing one black '98 Camaro that had it and I didn't really pay very close attention to it. My question is, when you opted for the Red Accent package, was it only the seats that got the red accent inserts, or did the cloth sections of the door panels also get some sort of red accent?

Yeah it looks pretty cool.
If anyone has a brochure laying around from a 1998 Camaro you can flip to the page that shows interior/exterior color options and see the Red Accent option. It was only avalible with certain exterior colors, and only with cloth seats. Problem is, that pic only shows the seat and not the whole interior, and I can't recall if that black one I saw in person had any red accents on the door panels to match the seat inserts....
I'm sure someone on this board must have a '98 with this option.
If so, please post some pics of your interior (specifically showing the door panel) or just confirm if the door panel has any red accents.....

Uh, I think I have the Red Accent package you are talking about. Cloth seats, with red/black fabric for the seat insert and the upper door panel. Pretty rare I'm guessing?

My 97 camaro that was totaled. At least it has the LS1-style interior. It was VERY nice, got lots of compliments. The red came out a little brighter than it actually was, it's between the color you see and Auburn, and it has slightly darker stripes drawn in it on the seats and panels.

That's not like mine at all. Maybe I don't have what you guys are looking for. Mine is marbled with red, not solid red. And the upper door panels are the same fabric as the seat inserts.
