Default T/A guys, what do you use...

to clean the grey buttons in the interior(steering, radio, A/C buttons)? Mine have acquired some nasty color and I've tried to clean them but haven't been too successful.

I wouldn't use anything harsh. It might damage the type that's printed on them.

yea i found this out the hard way. I cant remember exactly what I used but some of the print started coming off the steering wheel radio button. Its not really noticable, but I don't want to do it to anything else.

I'll try that warm water/ Qtip trick and see if it works

GM has been using that crap since the early 90s at least. its stupid in the first place. black would have been much better since dirt doesnt show as well, not to mention its a better color.

Armour All works really well, any other cleaner will be bad for the surface

Thats what I do. Get some q-tips for in between the buttons and lightly spray some armor in there. If you feel that is unsafe to do just go to staples and buy a can of compressed air that is used to clean dirt from in between computer keyboard keys. The cans are usually about $2, and can be used to detail alot on the inside of any car. They come with this small coffee straw that hooks up to the can.
