Default Detailed SS...PICS INSIDE

Well everyone i had the day off work, so i figured it would be a good day to completely detail my baby. It was nice and sunny, around 50 degrees here in chicago, so i thought why not. I washed it, then i polished it, and then i waxed her, and i did it all by hand. I think i am going to have to invest in a real buffer soon. But anyways enjoy the pics, and let me know what u think

gotta say it looks great man. i love black, but like most people, i'm scared to get it because of how much work it takes to keep clean and the amount of care needed to not put swirls in it.

later,
Dave

Yeah, the midwest weather is crap, 3 days ago it was in the 30's today it was almost 70. Impossible to keep your car right in the winter.

Nice looking car man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks great, I like the wheels.

I think some smoked clear corners would look good on there

Looks nice. Try a little metal polish on those Borla tips...it really makes a big difference in the overall appearance of the car.

What did you use to polish and wax?

thanks for all the replies guys, i appreciate it alot, the car still has some swirls on it, especially on the hood, i think i need ot take it in to get professionally done to get them all out. About my tips, they arent in that good of shape, i think i need to try an SOS pad and get all the crap thats like stuck on them off, cause ive tried using polish but it doesnt help. Also i will get the name of the polish i used, for the wax, i used mequires.

A good metal polish with some steel wool should make a good difference on the inside of those tips.

Car looks great... love black when its clean. My opinions would be clear or smoked corners and ditch the blackouts on the tails. The red/black contrast looks great with the stock tails IMO.
