It looks pink because I painted the red on first then masked off the bird and painted the pewter over it. When I get some time I'm going to redo it, painting the pewter first and then mask around the bird and paint the red. The picture makes it look more pink than it really looks. The coils are mounted under the cowl.

I have a few tips you might use. I got high heat red and the high heat CLEAR. Coats of clear will make the paint look wet for years. I did the valve covers, Waterpump,throttle body,maf ends, and the traction control cover. Did the !wires and !air mods. And a clear air lid from MTI. Make sure you disassembly the tb and SAND and use brakecleaner. Oh yeah... masking tape is your friend. The result ...
