Id say SOM too. I have only seen a few around here and I see tons of black. My car is black. They are a major PITA to keep clean and every single imperfection shows up. What color is it now?

This may not help much but through Dupont I think the paint code is #71. Definetely paint it SOM with either black or chrome wheels and lower it a bit, can't go wrong.

I'd also go SOM, though if you're doing a full color change, why not do something different? There are lots of blues that look really good, and if orange is what you had in mind (which IMO is a good choice), there are a number of oranges that I've never seen on an f-body that would also look killer and truly unique.

How about something new, something different, ..., ?!?
If yer gonna do it over, do something different, ...
House of Kolors Kandy Tangerine, ...
And what color is it now?!? I hope it's black, cuz then you don't necessarily have to do the inner fenders & other stuff under the hood!

stryker14 has a nice pic of House of Kolors Kandy Tangerine. I'd never seen that before, but it's more like what I was referring to. https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearance-detailing/294148-getting-new-paint-need-ideas.html
Long beach blue is also more of the color blue I'd recommend. It looks sweet.
Like PontiacFan said (and I did as well in my earlier post) - since you'll have to paint the jams, inner fenders, engine bay, etc., you may as well go with something unique.
