Default How to remove swirl marks..

Had some body work done (about 6 weeks ago) at maaco and have some nasty swirl marks tiny scraches. What should I do? Is it ok to use a paint cleaner, or just wax? Any wax or polish steps recommended? I really need some help it's driving me crazy lol

3M makes a swirl remover compound that is supposed to be good. I believe Zaino makes one as well.

you can use the 3M rubbing compound not the fine cut the regular rubbing compound. Then follow that up with 3M Machine Glaze then Finishing Glaze. If you want to use Meguiars id go 83, 80, 81,

A Porter Cable 7424 buffer used with the correct foam pads along the Menzerna Intensive and Final polish will work wonders. It takes time, but is worth it.

I might even be a little hesitant to buff on a macco paint job. Very bad reputation in Missouri. But thats prob your best bet.

Well I put a coat of carnuba wax and things are looking goooood it'll tied me over till I can polish it and fine tune the new finish
