Question Power Window/Speaker Noise

Since I replaced my drivers door window motor I get a "pop" through the speakers when I hit the window switch. Is this common with replacement motors {Advance Auto} or did I get a bad one, it otherwise works ok.

Thanks.

mine does the same thing. hasn't affected how the window or speaker works. I just turn the radio off when rolling up the window.

Sounds like you have a ground wire loose. The motor must be grounding to the door structure itself. Causing current to pass through your speaker causing a popping noise. I would check all of your connections.

I think it's the motor itself since the noise began when I changed it, anyone know of a fix besides replacing the motor?

Thanks.

skewba98z28 may be on to something about the ground problem. im pretty sure its a bad ground somewhere. check your wiring. before you go replace the motor.
