Default Raptor Shiftlight

I tried to install my raptor shiftlight according to raptors page and it isnt working on the set rpms. I think i have it hooked up right, but i could be wrong. What i wanna do now is reconnect it to the instructions that came with it. But i dont know where there is a switched and fused 12 volt source and where the tach output lead is at. I know its under my center console and behind the tach. Can anyone help me find these wire locations.
Thank you.

I connected mine with the tach lead and power source wired directly into the ecm and I grounded it to the ecm bracket,I know that doesn't answer your question ,but that's what worked for me.

NM, i just fixed it and it is working great. Raptors site gives you instructions for installing on a 98. It is a bit different on a 99-02. So if anyone else has this problem do a search of raptor shift light install and harlans install will come up. Go there and it will explain it much better than raptor did.
