Side Intakes & Painted Taillights on TA
My father and I did all the custom body work on my car, but no one really notices any difference (not many Fbody Coneseurs out there, especially in Montana & Western Washington!). I was just wondering what knowledgable people thought about the mods. Taping the Taillights took me about 5 hours of placing like 500 hexagon stickers over the light portion, the side intakes and lower hood scoops also took a lot of mold design/fiberglassing/body work. Also, I asked this question on another forum: what type of engine would be cooler for an upgrade... 1)Single/twin turbo charged 427 LSx 2)All Aluminum Gen 1 427 Single Turbo Charged 3) All aluminum Big Block w/ nitrous? I cannot make up my mind, but I do have until this fall to decide.

Damn...that's about the most original-looking 4th gen I've seen. I like the paint scheme and I kinda like the side vents.
The tail lights look good, but they sound like they were too much work for how little they stand out.
Big props on making your car unique!!!

I love those side vents and the taillights are absolutely awesome too. Even has a good paint scheme going on. the ONLY thing I'd do different would have been to have painted the roof black (just the roof, not the bar between the roof and the rear glass, just too used to seeing it be black no matter the color of the car due to t-tops). Great job nonetheless.

I noticed the '2' in the plates on that other car in the pic When you say 'No other F-body connoisseurs out there, especially in MT'..., are you referring to Great Falls? If so, I know where you're coming from. The first show that my friend brought his 30th and I brought mine to, we were practically scorned for not showing up with something from the 70's Ridiculous. It's just the mindset of central MT, especially here in Lewistown...do whatever it takes to resist change and remain in the 70's/80's. Not a lot of money around, and even less respect for modern muscle cars. I'm all for giving props to a nicely restored/modded older muscle car, but it really sours it when it's never reciprocated. Their ignorance with the new tech stuff makes it more fun though, at least from my view
Next time I'm in the Falls, I'll look for a lime green/charcoal T/A. Bring that thing out to the track in Lewistown this summer. It's a great feeling beating down most of their trailer queens in a car you drove out there yourself

Thanks guys, it actually sounds like the work was worth it! And yes I am from Great Falls, that is where all the work was done, but I have since moved to Bremerton, WA to take a decent paying job (in relation to anything I could find in Montana) in Mechanical Engineering. I have only shown my car once at a car show last summer in Great Falls, and I heard a comment from some little "ricers" about all the work just being a bolt on body kit! Talk about discouraging! I'm now thinking about converting to a 98-02 front clip and buying some projection head lights. The next time my car goes to Great Falls it will be going under the knife for a while to change front clip, engine, tranny, and other minor mods.

I really like the hood scoops. That hood has an original look to it and I must say it's badass. The vents I'd need to see from more angles to pass judgement.
Definatley the quality of the work done on the car is outstanding. Very nice job indeed.

Man, I wouldn't change the front clip. It looks more original with the LT1 model front end. That's what I like so much was how you blended the look of the 98-01 style WS6 hood with the 94-97 front end. The more I look, the sides remind me of a C5, not sure if that's what you were going for but it definately looks great.

I definitely like what you have done with the lt1 it is the nicest lt1 i have seen. However why would you convert over to the newer style after putting so much work into the one you have. If you are going to change over to the new style what will you be doing with the front bumper and hood?

Really nice car, like the originality with the paint scheme. Do you have more pictures of the entire car. The three you posted all have some portion of the car blocked.
