Default Plans for '98 Z28

If you read this please give me your feedback.

I have a '98 Z28 that is Navy Blue Metallic.

What I'm thinking is kind of like a Red, White & Blue scheme. I removed the black plastic nose grille cover.
- I'm going to leave the car NBM.
- I've got white Z28 emblems.
- I've also got white "Camaro" letters for the front and rear recessed lettering.
- I'm going to get some grille mesh and paint them red and install them into the big round holes on either side of the grille (the holes behind the plastic nose grille).
- I'm going to get red hockey stripes.
- I'm going to paint the brake calipers either black or NBM (if I can find the right kind of paint).

Thanks for any input you give me.

Jim

See if you can get someone to Photoshop that up for you. It sounds a little "busy" for my taste, but it might look really cool when you're done. And if you like it, to hell with what I think.

Red w/ NBM? Different, but not something I'd personally do. Rather stick w/ a silver or graphite look instead. More people have it, but the colors compliment each other instead of contrasting.

If you do use red, do the calipers red also. That way it doesnt look like you've got a rainbow of colors going on with red, white, black and blue.

Silver and NBM is nice or NBM with chrome.

Red white and blue would be too busy.

i would go w silver as well...but white would look nice too, i dunno about the red hockey sticks tho....if u maybe get them in white as well to match then maybe, bu i dunno, sounds too goofy for me....takes away from the mean look of a car to a clown car... not to bash on your car of course

My vote is for silver also,a silver hockey stripe would look good.Save the red for your calipers.Again this is my opinion,it is your car.

yeah the red would look like it doesnt belong there. definitely stick to a two color scheme or if you want to throw another in dont make it contrast too much. nbm/white/silver or nbm/white black would look much better imo.

I really appreciate ALL the input. That's the kind of ideas I ws looking for. I don't want it to look too busy and I don't want it to look "Ricey." I want it to look like an F-Body should - pure muscle.

Thanks, and keep the inputs coming!
