Default What to use to clean dirty exhaust tips?

I want to bring the shine back to my exhaust tips and I was wondering what everyone here use. I have heard of putting a coat of wax to protect it from dirt.

I use Mothers alluminum polish. After buffing it out with a rag, it looks like chrome.

go to home depot and you will find different grades of steel wool. Get the light grade and follow that with some polish.

I use an acid chemical on any thing chrome or aluminum. You have to be quick with polished aluminum it actually not recommended for it but it don't make a damn on raw aluminum. You should see my calipers after 5 years they look brand new. There is no scrubing what so ever with this product. You just spray it on and hose it off for real, not like the false claim on the store bought brands that we have all tried. You can get it all day long from any professional detailer around here. I'll post up some pics next time my wheels get dirty.

I bought some stuff like that. It came from S&N Products. They have some bad stuff, and the prices arent bad either. Dont know if they have a website or not but their right down the street from where I work. I think they have a product for anything you need to clean.

Second vote here for the Eagle One Nevr-Dull, I use the "wadding polish". The stuff rocks!
Pretty powerful: If you rub it on a pop can for a while it will take the paint off
