Default paint tips for LS6 OEM intake

i'm in the process of correcting an oil consumption problem with an LS6 style pcv setup and want to paint some engine components while they are off. anyone know if you can paint the factory LS6 intake manifold

I painted my ls1 intake..cant imagine the ls6 would be any different. I just did some sanding, sprayed it with rattle can plastic primer then layed down some ppg silver. Make sure you spend alot of time cleaning degreesing it and you will do fine!

Clean and prep is critical. The rest is pretty easy.

jimmy are you a professional or very experienced in painting? that picture looks flawless...i'm getting a ls6 intake and i would LOVE to have it look like that, to match the silver on my car
