Default Smoothed, Painted FAST 90mm Intake, Nasty Billet Rails - Mock Up Pics (56K Warning)

Finally got my FAST 90mm intake back from the paint shop, so I decided to mock it up and take some pics. I sanded the intake smooth and removed the lettering. I also filled in most of the "indentations" for the stock fuel rail crossover since they wouldn't be needed. Although the pics don't really show it off well, it's painted with BMW Sapphire Black Metallic...enjoy.

Orange Peel - Thanks...I've been debating whether I should mount it or find a place for it in my wife's china cabinet...

Brian - I guess I'm going to have to suck it up and bolt it on...I hope it doesn't get dirty...

That black really sets off the blue and red fittings quite nicely.

That looks very nice. Great color choice too. We had my girfriends Celica painted the same color a few months back. Definitely has a nice look to it when there is some sun hitting it.

You sure can...they're a direct bolt-on to LS1/LS6 intakes (or any intake set up to use the stock fuel rail)...they are spaced like the stock fuel rail. Nasty Performance's kit is top notch with all the hardware and fittings to connect to the stock fuel supply line...here's a pic:

I see those fuel rails on Nasty's site, which one is it though, the $319 kit or the $179 kit for an LS6 intake? Thanks!

The $179 price is for just the rails and mounting hardware.
The $319 price is for the rails, mounting hardware, braided stainless supply line, braided stainless crossover line, and all the Aeroquip fittings you need for the ends of the rails and to hook-up to stock fuel supply hard line. I believe that Nasty may also include the rail-mounted fuel pressure gauge, but don't quote me on that. Nate at Nasty offers lots of good sales, shoot him an email or PM and see if maybe he can offer a special/GP on these kits...I bought mine on a good sale last year...

Cool, thanks for the info! Other than looking titty, does it serve any performance purpose? I would just buy it to have the fuel pressure gauge on the front

Man that looks great! Nice work. If it does nothing more than look good it would be fine with me. Those fuel rails top it off nicely.
